Everything Is Working in Your Favor | Mindset Monday

This first Mindset Monday is dedicated to my husband, Chris Banks.

Throughout our relationship, Chris had a saying he repeated to me often:

"Everything is working in your favor."

I'll be honest. There were many times as a business owner when I didn't see it.

Building The Signature Pros

When Chris was alive, my primary focus was building The Signature Pros.

The digital templates I created for my business helped keep both me and my clients structured and organized. I knew they had value, so I created The Notary Zone as a place to sell them.

It started as an Instagram page, a Facebook page, and an Etsy shop.

At the time, I thought The Notary Zone was about digital templates and creating the occasional passive income.

But I knew I needed something more.

I wanted more predictability in my business.

I wanted a better way to communicate with customers without personally answering the same phone calls or responding to the same text messages over and over again. I wanted systems that could guide people through my process, create consistency, and deliver a better client experience.

As the mother of a preschooler, I also knew it wasn't realistic, or healthy, to be chained to my phone every day.

I wanted to be present for my daughter while still providing exceptional service to my clients.

Building better systems wasn't just about saving time.

It was about creating a business that supported the life I wanted to live.

That's when I started building automations and systems for The Signature Pros.

When Something Finally Clicked

For years, I'd been watching the same conversations in notary groups.

"What do you use to accept bookings?"

"What do you use to collect payments?"

"What tools do you use?"

"Can this app integrate with your website?"

It always seemed like notaries were trying to piece together their businesses with a collection of different apps.

Just like I had done for years.

Until I finally got tired of the rigamarole, one of my mom's favorite words.

Then something clicked.

The systems I was building for The Signature Pros could also help other notary business owners.

The Notary Zone was no longer just about selling templates.

It had become something bigger.

It became about helping business owners build smarter businesses and deliver a better client experience.

"Keep Going With AI"

The night before Chris passed away, he gave me one more piece of encouragement that has stayed with me ever since.

"Keep going with AI."

At the time, I still didn't see where all of this was leading.

Today, I do.

When I look back, I can see that everything I built for The Signature Pros was leading me here.

The templates.

The workflows.

The automations.

The late nights of figuring things out.

None of it was wasted.

It was preparing me for a purpose I hadn't discovered yet.

Chris never doubted his own words.

He believed that everything was working in his favor, my favor, and our family's favor, even when I couldn't see it myself.

He wanted me to believe it too.

Today, I Finally Do

Today, I finally do.

I don't have everything figured out.

I'm still building.

I'm still learning.

I'm still improving.

But I've done enough work to know that what I'm learning can help someone else.

So I'm inviting you to build with me.

I'll share what's working.

I'll share what isn't.

I'll share the lessons, the systems, and the mindset that's helping me build a smarter business and deliver a better client experience.
